A small game I made while on holiday in Austalia for Dino Jam 3! 🦖
Theme: Learn to Fly
The only thing you need to graduate Pterodactyl School is the ability to fly. Do your best to fly across the finish line before you hit the ground. The faster you cross the finish line, the better your score!
Controls:
Numbers - Select level
Enter or Space - To return to the main menu
Up arrow - Open Trophy Menu
Escape - Turn music on / off
Alphabet - One letter that is randomily assigned will grant you the ability to fly
(Alternatively, you can use left click to select level and menu buttons).

There is something strangely therapeutic about frantically trying to press every key on your keyboard while looking for the correct one. It started out in a controlled manner, just have to press A-B-C-D! Then the mashing began...

how do you get the "everybody cries sometimes" and "ultimate replayer" achievement?

To get the Everybody Cries Sometimes trophy you need to lose at least once on every level and to get the Ultimate Replyer trophy you have to play each level 3 times each 😊
This game does well to fit the dinojam theme this year! I ended up having to mash my keyboard A LOT to win.
Great job integrating achievements - try adding some more SFX to give the player more feedback when they hit or miss the fly key. Impressed you managed to participate in a game jam on holiday, keep it up!
